Union Pacific Railroad Obstacles?
back when Union Pacific and Central Pacific were racing to complete the first transcontinental railroad how many miles of obstacles (ie mountains, lakes, rivers, etc) did they have to cross? if you don't know the answer off the top of your head do you know of a website i might find it on?
Unforturnatley, Wikipedia is not a good place to look. It can be edited by random people and is not the best source of information, but most of it is true. I think you would have to find a website that specifically deals with landforms.
