Is it legal to scan business cards of restaurants and post them on my website?
I would like to create a Web site to write my reviews of restaurants I visit. Usually restaurants have generic business cards with contact details and perhaps a map of their location. I wonder if it is legal to scan the cards and display them on my website.
You'd be smart to get their written permission first. They might not own the artwork and the map that created could sue you.
