How do I set an image, from vertical to horizontal?
I took a vertical photo of my sister and her fiance and they want to use it on their "Save the Date" postcards they send. The thing is it needs to be a horizontal image. How can I do that? I tried to use iPhoto, but the simple "rotate" button doesn't make the image. I use Photoshop. Thank you!
If you use Photoshop, just crop a horizontal to vertical portion of the image. You may find yourself with problems of resolution due of trying to expand something that is lower resolution, but now do. Or, you can create a new empty file is the right size and shape and use only part of the vertical culture on the postcard, placing the text in an empty spot on the left or right of the image. Try something like a 1800x1200 pixel map (if correct size) and take a culture of 1200x1200 shooting vertical as you like and drop it on the map 1800x1200.
