Is NE Weidler a good/family friendly street to live on in Portland?
By Portland's standards: no, it is unfriendly to families. The western three-quarters of the street is commercial or heavy retail. The east end has houses, but many have been converted into professional offices (dentists, lawyers) and the others simply endure the heavily used thoroughfare that Weidler and Broadway are.
If you are used to Manhattan, it might seem family friendly in comparison....
