I haven't visited personally, but I have heard it's good day out - apparently the audio tours are good for bringing the ghost stories to life.
If your son is interested in visiting haunted places, Bodmin Jail ghost tours (featured on ITV's 'Most Haunted') are meant to be good too - very spooky! www.bodminjail.org
