What does grade school mean on an application?
i'm filling a job application that says grade school(last attended) and high school and college last attended. what am i suppose to put on that
It's asking for what elementary school you went to. It's an old format application. Nowadays you don't need to fill that in. Compulsory education laws ensure that everyone goes through at least two years of high school. But 50 years ago, it wasn't uncommon to find job applicants with only a sixth, seventh, or eigth grade education.
