Vintage Ohio
Heavy warm coats for winter?
Since Cleveland, Ohio is getting A LOT of snow now (even had a day off today!) I still need a winter coat. Everywhere I have been looking for coats, most of them I like are thin! Seems like they're going for 100% style instead of warmth nowadays, huh? So, I'm looking for a fairly heavy winter coat, something that I could put a hoodie or sweater on under and be outside for some time without freezing. I don't usually go for the winter jackets that are really poofy and stuff. I tend to like peacoats, and anything else with that "indie/vintage" style.
Oh, and my family is a little tight on money, anything under 70 dollars would be best? I've tried Goodwill but they don't have much of a selection..
Links? Stores? Anything? Thanks!
Old Navy and TjMaxx have a great variety of peacoats and they're usually 30-50 dollars! Really good price. Just make sure to look at the jacket and see that it has good lining on the inside and wool usually keeps you the warmest. Good luck:)
