Protestants: What do you hate so much about Catholics?
First off: PROTESTants. Protestants PROTESTED against the Catholic church. So, originally, everyone was Catholic... who wasn't Muslim or Buddhist or whatever... All of these "First Baptist" or "Congregational" or "Community"... these are all just other churches that didn't like something about another so they started another one.
Anyways: one of my best friends and I got in a huge fight about this... Why do Protestants hate Catholics so much? Seriously. Before you go and hate on us, you should at least have a reason. If you want to know about why we have the Eucharist or why we pray to the Virgin Mary, let me know. I'll tell you all you want. But, I just don't get what is so wrong about what we believe.
And if you don't "hate" us, what don't you agree with?
I have never met a protestant who hated me because I was a catholic.
