What British towns have the longest living UK ancestry?
Like towns where possibly more than 90% of the residents have lived in the UK going back the family tree every year for 900+ years. Are there towns like that?
Like for USA, the longest non-migration would be residents of West Virginia, Arkansas, Kentucky, some of Pennsylvania's townships, a few New England towns if even that.
The rest of US cities and towns really have little folk life remaining of history outside of a historic street, museums, and postcards. And hence it's not living history.
I don't know, but I would guess possibly the Hebrides
