has anyone bought the rodeoswest.com dvd claiming jim morrison of the doors is alive in oregon, is it real?
just heard about this site and dvd wondering if its worth 37 dollars or is a hoax.
That idiot does not deserve $37 or any money at all; it is horrible that he is trying to profit off of Jim's death. I will include my standard answer about this moron so you can see some stuff about him.
I just don't think it was possible for Jim to fake his death and create a new one. Since Jim's longtime girlfriend, Pamela died shortly after his death (by an overdose) it seems to show that she could not deal with her remorse any longer. If Jim was alive Pam would have stayed alive and been with him. I think it is the fact that Pam loved and missed Jim so much after his death (she was very young, about 24-25 when Jim died) that she died only a few years later, also at 27. It wouldn't be possible to say that Pam also faked her death, because she was cremated, so her body was seen.
I also discredit the theory that the casket was closed and nobody got to see he was truly dead. Sure the casket was closed, but there was an amount of time that Jim's body was awaiting his casket and final measures. Also, for him to have faked his death for that long would be impossible. He would have needed to find a way to obtain food and fool others into thinking he was no longer living.
And even if by some impossible way Jim managed to run and escape, I imagine he would want to produce and share his artwork (poems, film, songs, books) Would he leave his family, friends and people that admired behind? Again, likely no. There does not seem to be a point of living when your direction and inspiration in life have been taken away or unable to be shared.
Lastly, they say he owns a ranch and is a cowboy. That is just laughable. I remember some interview Jim said he didn't really like the outdoors, not like, but not hate. The idea of a farmer Jim is just funny to me. Again, it seems odd that a poet and an artist would deceive many in order to become a profession in total contrast to the original (and liked lifestyle) for something that is disliked. The theory that Jim is living in Africa also seems to follow the same logic.
Also, this man that says he is Jim acts like a total fake. It seems that he is just saying that he is Jim in order to receive fame which is just wrong. I hope that if for some reason Jim were still living, he would quit acting so juvenile and superficial, especially at his age.
