How to find someone's descendants?
My friend found a box of pictures in her new house. There are photo albums with picture postcards and letters on the back. They date as far back as 1902. We know the name of the person they sent it to, but we're not really sure how to find the descendants so they can have some of their family history back. Any ideas? Free ideas would be best. =]
We know they lived in Prosper Oregon. Eliza Lewis was the owner of the albums [all the letters were written to her] and her husband was Clay H. Lewis. She had a few daughters, Elsa or Elsie, Robah/Robe, and Marie D. A possible son named Lloyd. Granddaughter's name is Clarice. We don't have last names for any of the kids. This is all info we got from reading the letters.
Prosper is in Coos County. These two sites are devoted to Genealogy in Coos County. They are much smaller than Yahoo! but much more tightly focused.

Both require registration, both are free, neither spam you. They are the Ford and Chevy of the real genealogy bulletin boards. (Ancestry & Genforum have a site for every county in the USA.). I would suggest you post in both places. I have gotten responses from my posts there as much as two years afterward, so don't expect instant answers.

Henry died in 1927 in Prosper, so that is probably him. (A surprising number of people switch first and middle names.). The data base is from 2006, so the e-mail address may be bad, but it is free.
I'll send the URL of this question to the 3 people on Ancestry who have Henry and Eliza for you.
Edit: There are just two people, and one is clumsy. He has the same tree posted twice, once under a valid e-mail address, once under a bad one. I suspect he uploaded twice, instead of uploading once and then replacing.
