Would my older cat be better off staying with my parents in New York than moving with me down to Florida?
I absolutely love this cat to death. I raised her from the time she was born literally and she's always been my cat. Out of everyone in the family she constantly stays with me the most but I really wonder if moving her that far away from the same house she's lived in forever is a good idea. I'm very worried about it all but to leave her would seriously break my heart D: Help please?
I can understand your dilema, she would be distressed either way, as she will miss you when you leave. I would say take her with you, as she'll be unsettled when you leave as much as if she was in a new place.
The only thing I worry about is her age and the stress of her travelling that far, but if you trial her in a box and build it up and she doesn't get too upset in a travel box then there would be no reason why you can't take her with you.
