When did the Poetry and Literature Center of The United States Library of Congress originate?
I think 1936, is that right?
No in 1926 the president opened his own private library that served that purpose and in 1934 congress moved the center to a small office near the lincoln memorial before it was burned down and the centre was moved to the library of congress on the 14th of September 1935
