Can I put a glass jar with glass paint mixed with turpentine in the oven?
I painted a glass jar with glass paint, mixed with turpentine to dilute so that it would be pure. but now I need harden it. I can put it in the oven to cook, or is it a huge risk fire? painting on the pot feels strong enough, but I do not want this to be totally stupid. thank you!
There is nothing wrong with putting the glass in the oven. As long as you do not drop it in cold water after, b / c that will cause it to crack. Why exactly you are trying to put it in the oven? The heat could melt the paint and would not be good ... But as the turpintine catch fire .. I do not think will happen. Now all flammable vapors in it will probably evaporated.
