what is the meaning behind re-issue for collectible books enthusist
would like to collect some of my favorite authors books in hardback. just wondering when a book is advertised as 1st ed. reissue what the significance is with the term reissue. it states the correct year the book came out. thanx for any help
Re-issue means just that. The book was originally printed (1st edition), it went out of print and now has been re-issued (in essence, re-printed) and it is a reprint of the 1st edition.
